Downtown Corner Project

This project brings us back to Bayshore where we'll be designing a mixed-use development structure in the heart of the multi-business district of the county. By working with a partner, we'll be providing the plans for a multi developed residential and commercial project. This site will be both housing the residents that are seeking to move into the area and allow a place of work and development for both an Architectual and Engineering firm.  

During the development, it was decided that the building would be separated to better focus on the differing purposes of the site. A double floored office building meant for to give space for one business each, and three-story apartment building that houses 4 single bedrooms in each floor. The theme for their designs involved order and chaos, this is apparent in their designs when viewing them. The residential looks to be like a puzzle piece revolving from the outside but the floors are well ordered and neat. Meanwhile the office building is clean and shaped simply on the outside but has multiple factors going on within the layout like the complicated floor plan the open void that pierces from the floor to the roof.
